Over the course of my MSN program, I have transformed into skilled professional nurse. Throughout my progression of my studies, each class reinforced my critical thinking skills and knowledge. The course work nurtured me into a competent professional nurse with a strong ethical and moral values required to make critical clinical decision. Overall, the course offered me a holistic approach on what nursing practice entails as well as the impact of advanced nursing practice. The program helped me to develop excellent communication skills as well as interprofessional skills and now I can develop precise, thorough sbar reports which articulate the activities of the interdisciplinary team. Interprofessional team collaboration is associated with improved patient outcomes (Morton et al. 2017).
